How often should I get an eye exam?
We generally recommend an eye exam every year, especially for children, seniors, and anyone with existing eye conditions or that wears contact lenses. Adults with no vision issues may need an exam every two years. If you're not sure, just ask — we’re happy to guide you!
Is eye care covered by insurance?
Many insurance plans cover part or all of the cost of eye exams, glasses, and contact lenses. We also direct bill to many insurance providers to make things easier for you. Feel free to call us if you have questions about your coverage.
Are children’s eye exams covered?
At Affinty, we offer children’s eye exams for free! There is no cost associated for the exam of children under 19 years old.

What should I bring to my appointment?
Please bring your current glasses or contact lenses, a list of any medications you’re taking, your insurance information (if applicable), and any questions you might have — we love when patients are curious!
Do you handle eye emergencies?
Yes! If you have sudden vision changes, eye pain, flashes of light, or something stuck in your eye, please call us right away. We provide urgent care for eye emergencies.
